To retain information, I have to read and take thorough notes.
This process can be time consuming, I usually do this only once.
I subsequently study off my notes.
Study groups are not for everyone. Make sure it is productive to yourself and the group.
Be realistic about your study and learning style.
Pursue what works best for you.
Implement self assessments of the material throughout your studies, question banks are a common and accessible tool for this.
It is important to maintain an activity or hobby you value, it will serve to center and ground you.
Finally, give yourself the grace to be your authentic human self. There isn’t one way to be successful, and attaining that achievement while remaining true to yourself makes the victory even sweeter.
